NICU Oxygen Therapy Equipment for Central Asia: A Buyer's Checklist

What NICUs and distributors in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and across Central Asia should check when sourcing infant CPAP, blenders and humidifiers from a Chinese factory - specs, documents, logistics.

Pigeon AD3000 series air-oxygen blender
Neonatal units across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and the wider Central Asian region are upgrading their infant respiratory care - and most of that equipment is sourced from manufacturers in China. This checklist covers what buyers in the region ask us about most: which devices to procure as a set, the documents that tenders and imports require, and the logistics of ordering from a Guangdong factory.

Procure the respiratory set, not single devices

The units that run best start with a documented set: infant CPAP (bubble or nasal), an air-oxygen blender with 21%-100% FiO2 control, a heated-wire respiratory humidifier, a medical air compressor and an oxygen analyzer - specified together, on one datasheet, so every component matches on gas supply conventions (0.3-0.4 MPa) and connectors. Mixing brands across five devices is where integration problems start. Power is rarely an issue: our devices run on AC 220V/110V, 50/60Hz depending on model, confirmed in the quotation.

The documents that decide tenders and imports

Every order from Pigeon Medical ships with the full documentation pack: Free Sales Certificate (FSC), China NMPA registration certificates, ISO 13485 certificate and a letter of authorization - the paperwork your customs broker and tender committee ask for first. We have also assisted distribution partners with local registration: for example, our Philippines distributor registered the AD3000 T-piece resuscitator with the local FDA using our certificates. Send us your country's requirements and we will confirm which documents we can supply before you order.

Logistics and lead times from the factory

Minimum order is 1 set, so you can start with a trial configuration. Stock items ship in about 3 days; 50-100 sets take about 15 days and 500 sets about 1 month (blender family reference). Production currently ships about 40HQ containers every month, with worldwide loading from Chinese ports - consolidated LCL for trial orders or full containers for tender projects, export cartons with device-level packing lists.

Working with government tenders

Our equipment has been delivered through government and hospital tenders across Africa, the UAE and Central America - more than 3,000 CPAP sets and 500+ medical air compressors to date - and several of our distributors have grown into listed companies with our support. For public procurement in Central Asia we prepare the same tender-ready file: specifications, certificates, authorization letter and a quotation structured to the tender form.

Frequently asked questions

Do you ship to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries?

Yes - we ship worldwide from Guangdong, China, including all Central Asian markets. Trial orders can move by consolidated freight; tender volumes load as full containers. Export documents are included with every shipment.

Can you support registration in our country?

We supply the certificates and authorization letters your registrant needs - FSC, NMPA registrations, ISO 13485 and product technical files - and we have hands-on experience supporting a partner's local FDA registration in Southeast Asia. Registration itself is filed by you or your local agent; we support it with documents and technical answers.

Which products should a new respiratory distributor start with?

Most new regional distributors start with the AD-I or AD-II infant CPAP plus the PN-2000FB humidifier as a matched set, add the AD3000 blender and PN-4000 compressor once demo units are placed, and grow into HFNC, resuscitators and suction. OEM/ODM with your branding is available every month.
